Commerce Can Be Kind. We're Proving It.
KindCart is a second-hand marketplace where every transaction supports charity. No shareholders. No profit motive. Just a small team of volunteers, some servers, and a big idea.
We Noticed Something Obvious
People have too much stuff. Closets overflow. Garages turn into storage units. Items with plenty of life left in them gather dust instead of serving someone new.
At the same time, charities doing essential work struggle to fund their programmes. Traditional fundraising is expensive, emotionally exhausting, and hard to sustain.
We thought: what if these two problems could solve each other?
People may not have spare money to donate, but they almost always have spare things. A camera they stopped using. Clothes their kids outgrew. Furniture from the old apartment. These items still have real value, just not to their current owners.
"What if selling your old stuff and supporting charity were the same thing?"
A Marketplace Where the Proceeds Go to Charity
KindCart is simple. You list your items, pick which verified foundations to support, and when something sells, the proceeds go to those causes.
We keep 3% per sale. This covers payment system fees and hosting — the costs without which the platform can't run. We don't profit from this. There are no salaries, no profits, and no investors.
The garage sale becomes a small fundraiser. The closet cleanout becomes a quiet act of generosity. No grand gestures needed.

Trust Is Earned by Receipts, Not Promises
We publish donation receipts. Monthly. Publicly. Every transaction can be traced from buyer to foundation.
We partner only with legitimate, audited charities. Direct bank transfers to official accounts. No intermediaries. No "donation processing fees." No fine print.
If you want to verify where the money goes, you can. That's the whole point.

What We Stand For
Radical Transparency
Every donation documented. Every receipt published. We have nothing to hide because we keep nothing.
"Trust is not earned by promises. It is earned by receipts."
Volunteer Spirit
KindCart is built and operated by volunteers who believe in the mission. This keeps costs near zero and ensures maximum impact per transaction.
"We don't take salaries. We take satisfaction."
Environmental Responsibility
Every second-hand sale is one less new item produced. Less manufacturing. Less shipping. Less waste. Sustainability isn't our main message, it's a built-in benefit.
"The greenest product is the one that already exists."
Accessible Generosity
Not everyone can donate €500 to charity. Everyone can sell their old headphones. We lower the barrier to giving by meeting people where they already are: in their overflowing closets.
"You don't need deep pockets to have a big heart."
Community Protection
Buyers are protected until items arrive. Sellers are protected from fraudulent claims. Disputes are handled fairly. Trust makes the whole thing work.
"Kind commerce requires kind rules."
What We Are Not
- ✕
Not a donation platform. We're a marketplace. Charitable giving happens as a consequence of commerce.
- ✕
Not a place to sell for profit. If you want to keep the money, use another platform.
- ✕
Not "100% free." We charge a small platform fee to cover infrastructure. We're honest about this.
- ✕
Not a charity ourselves. We facilitate donations to verified partner foundations.
- ✕
Not a big tech company. We're volunteers with a mission and some servers.
Built to Work Anywhere
The mission is universal: turn second-hand commerce into charitable giving. The implementation is regional: each market operates with local payment methods, shipping carriers, and currency so everything feels natural wherever you are.
We start with a small number of verified foundation partners and grow carefully. Every foundation is properly vetted, every process tested, every receipt verified before we expand. Trust can't be rushed, and we're in no hurry to cut corners.
Our Manifesto
We built KindCart because we noticed something obvious: people have too much stuff, and charities need funding. These problems could solve each other.
Every year, billions of euros worth of perfectly good items sit unused in homes. Meanwhile, foundations doing real work struggle to keep their programmes running. What if those dusty cameras and outgrown coats became funding?
This is not about sacrifice. It's about redirection. You were going to sell that jacket anyway. Now it supports causes you actually care about.
No capes required. Just a closet that needs clearing.
Be Part of It
Whether you're clearing space or looking for a great find, every transaction here does something good.
